Step 1 / 8What is RCS?

Radar Cross Section (RCS) measures how "visible" an object is to radar. A larger RCS means the object reflects more radar energy back to the receiver and is easier to detect. A jumbo jet might have an RCS of 100 square metres, while a stealth fighter can be as small as 0.001 square metres — the size of a marble.
