Wide-area motion imagery (WAMI) captures an entire city in a single frame, like a security camera for a whole metropolitan area. An aircraft flying high above records everything happening on the ground at once. Unlike a narrow camera that follows one target, WAMI sees all movement across dozens of square kilometres simultaneously.
